Masquerade international group exhibition of work curated by artist Joao Braun. It is taking place in the paper museum in Lenningen/Germany. I am very pleased that my solar etching Self –isolating has been included in this uncanny Masquerade.

I am delighted that ‘Berry Girls’ was selected for the INGDiscerningEye exhibition by artist Peter Brown. The exhibition is at the Mall Galleries and online until 21st November. The two figures come bearing autumn fruits from my imagination in a modest oil painting on metal.

The Leyden Gallery are exhibiting my work in ‘Well, Well, Well’. A group exhibition including 12 artists exploring health through art in unique ways. The exhibition is at 33 Aldgate House from September until March.

I am delighted to say that my painting School Girl and Cat was selected for the Society of Women Artists 160th open exhibition. The exhibition is online this year from September 21st until the end of December 31st. This is a painting of my daughter petting the cat before school. I keep a lot of special memories by painting pictures of them.

I am honoured that my chapter, Walk Beside Me, was published by Demeter Press. The book is Grandmothers & Grandmothering: creative and Scholarly Perspectives In Honour of Our Women Elders edited by Kathy Mantas . Keep the Fear Away,  illustrates a childlike woman hiding under the bed beneath a cloud of prayers. My Grandmother taught me the protection that a prayer can offer to keep nightmares away. By Sharing a poem, a prayer, a story, a recipe, and my pictures, I illustrated how my grandmother enriched my life in chapter 11 of this insightful book.
