Etchings

I will sometimes create a series of miniature etchings to complement, and show alongside, my large canvases. Sometimes etchings are collected together and made into an artist’s book with text. I have developed a way of drawing, which translates well using solar etching techniques. I am intrigued by what can be achieved with a shift in scale. This interest stems from my research in Udaipur where I worked with miniaturist painters to produce paintings on paper. I have taken part in mini-print exhibitions in Europe and exhibit my miniature paintings in the Nutshell Miniature Gallery.
