The Princess and the Pea was selected for the International Original Print exhibition at Bankside Gallery this Autumn. This limited edition print is a solar etching on top of monoprint. This Fairy tale is also known as The Real Princess. The story is about the sleepless night that the princess experiences balanced on top of a pile of mattresses on top of a pea. It was one of my favourite bedtime stories when I was a child. It makes me think about all the things that could keep me awake at night.
